Someone hold me. My baby boy is five. FIVE!
We started off the celebration the evening before because Aunt Bev and Uncle Forrest’s card came in the mail. Their timeing is impeccable! We let him open it early and he was super thrilled.
The next morning he woke up and of courses remembered the day was all about him. He asked me if he could have whatever her wanted for breakfast. You can all clutch your pearls because I said yes and he chose a Snickers Bar. Hey- you only turn five once!!
I see two little sisters scheming for a way to get a bite.
We had to do candles at ever meal and snack.
His birthday fell on a Friday which meant a football game! He was super lucky because they were playing (or they were versing as Jett says) the Packers…which JUST so happens to be his BFF’s team.
Cole is Jett’s buddy and we were all a little worried they were going to just give each other the ball. Luckily all went well on that end and Jett just played with his mouth gaurd all game. No time to touch the ball!
Oh and about those cupcakes. Yeah, um….Momo picked them up for me and somehow moving them from one table to another didn’t go so smoothly. Not pointing any fingers but it was me. We went to MY bff’s pizza place, Stadium Pizza and we were basically like celebs. A whole section roped off just for us. And on a Friday night, that real estate is hard to come by.
