A few months ago my mom, sister, aunt and some friends went around looking at how the rich live. It's super fun, you get to have some wine and tromp through mansions. We do this each year and like to comment on how the decor is not really our taste. As if we could do better or something.
But I have NO CLUE who the 2 ladies on the left end are??? They were not with our group. Interesting.
They clearly think we are hilarious though, so they can stay.
Lila is hitting a fierce independent streak (like more than her usual) and is insisting on choosing her own outfits each day. Usually, I can muster the energy to wrestle her to the ground and put her in an outfit of my choosing, but on this particular day I just didn't have it in me.
February was Velentines day and the kids got invited to a little party/playdate. I haven't had to worry about Valentines yet since none of them are in school so when we got the invite I thought I'd run down to Target to grab some. Uncle Josh called me and in, oh about 30 seconds emailed me over something he just 'threw together.' And AND my kids were in their pajamas and Ruby was actually sleeping when he whipped these up. I dragged her little but out of bed, splashed some water at her to wake her up and sent UJ some pics. Pretty awesome job he did, right!?!
Jett got to have Ethan have a spend for a couple of nights when Ree Ree and Warren went to Vegas.
Let me just say that these two boys know how to game. Hardcore. In my never ending quest to be the coolest aunt, I let them just have at it for days. I thought they might play for a whole day or maybe even just half a day and then decide to go out side or something. Negative. These two gamed for like 3 days and only stopped to eat the junk we tossed at them. Like, I literally stood in the doorway and threw sandwiches and stuff at them because after day 1 the room started to smell of dirty little boys.
But they both said it was really fun so- yippee! I'm still the coolest.
Football season came to an end unfortunately. We loved watching the games and Uncle John worked some serious miracles with these bad news bears. We had not only the youngest team, but easily the most inexperienced as well (except for Drew of course). Jett spent the first half of the season messing with his mouth guard and scoring for the opponents. By the end of the season, The Chargers were winning, playing together and running plays! Can't wait until next year!!
