Happy Birthday Ruby!!

Little Ru turned 2 September 18th so we started the day off just the way she wanted- with a chocolate milk.

Then we headed off to Dr. Du for her checkup and shots (sorry Ru, that was sort of messed up scheduling on my part!).

We all know Ruby is super domestic.  Besides taking care of her many babies, she LOVES to clean.  Loves it.

It just makes her so happy!  So Ree Ree found the ultimate present for her this year.  Her very own cleaning cart!  First off, who the hell makes this as a toy?  I guess Ruby must not be alone in her sort of odd obsession but I just never would have guessed there was a market for this in toddler toys.

She was VERY pleased.  The only problem is that it didn't have a stroller attachment.  No biggie, she threw the baby in the front and went on her way.  Genius, Ruby.

Of course she got more babies too...

And Jett thought she needed a front carrier so that's what he picked out :)

And birthday's just aren't complete without the card from Aunt Bev and Uncle Forest.  I swear, I don't know how they do it, but they never forget a single niece or nephews birthday!  And we don't make it easy on them...there is a slew of kids for them to remember!

Ruby was THRILLED to get mail.

And hey look, money!!  Target here we come.

And as a side, I have no idea what the 80's headbands are.  I'm pretty sure it was Lila's idea.

The next day we headed out to Target.  I made Ruby look at every toy aisle to make sure she chose the perfect thing.  Shockingly, she chose a baby doll! 

She was so very happy :)  Thank you Aunt Bev and Uncle Forest!!
