This year Jett really REALLY wanted to get Sean matching shirts for them to wear.  Lila and I went on the hunt and finally found the perfect shirts.  Then, on the morning of father’s day Sean offered to take Jett and Lila to Costco.  What?!  Is it father’s day or mother’s day??  Either way I’ll take it!  I put Ruby down for a nap and it was a quiet hour here.  Happy father’s day to ME!

After they got home I sat down for my favorite part of father’s day…the father’s day interview with the kids :)  Lila put her two cents in this year which made it extra hilarious.

Q: What is daddy’s favorite food?
Jett: Ketchup
Lila: Chips

Q: What food does daddy NOT like to eat?
Jett: Food with no ketchup.
Lila: Hmmmmmmm.  Mustard.

Q: What is daddy’s favorite TV show?
Jett: The Office
Lila: I don’t know

Q: What is daddy’s favorite thing to do?
Jett:  Work in the garage.  He likes to fix cars and fix everything.
Lila: Dad likes to smile.

Q: Where does daddy work?
Jett:  At the workin spot.
Lila: In the garage.

Q: What makes daddy happy?
Jett: Me being a good boy.  Like when I don’t stomp my feet.
Lila: This **scrunches her face into a smile**

Q: What makes daddy mad?
Jett: Like, when I stomp my feet and when I don’t eat my food.
Lila: When he gets an owie.

Q: Why is daddy a good daddy?
Jett: Because we are best buddies!  When I ask for everything he gets me everything!  Like apples, or juice or a PSP or lego guys.
Lila: Because he likes Lego’s.

Q: What do you and daddy like to do for fun?
Jett:  Weeeelll, we like to do lots of stuff like play Play Station and when you leave we like to sneak and watch Family Guy.
Lila: We go to Target. Daddy buys me cookies.

Happy Father’s day!!

We wrapped up the day with a quick trip up to Papa and Momo’s.  We hope everyone’s father’s day was great!!
