Dancing Queen

So Lila started her first dance class this past Saturday.

I KNOW.  I know.  I said I would never do the whole “dance” thing and that if I had a daughter she was going to be an athlete.

Ummmmm, well, what can I say?  The outfits are REALLY frickin cute.   And a bunch of toddlers doing ballet is super hilarious.  I couldn’t resist!! 

Here she is stretching it out with her teachers.  And can I say- whatever these chicks make- it’s not enough???  It’s more or less controlled chaos with these kids- they barely listen, they have no clue how to dance, but these teachers are so nice and patient.

This is blurry- but Lila ran up in the middle of class to stand with the teachers….

Easy Tiger.  You’ve been dancing for 6 minutes.  I hardly think that qualifies you to lead the class.

She was super thrilled with every move she tried.  In the video – it’s hard to tell what she is saying but she kept running up to the teachers to tell them “I did it!” :)  Of course I think it’s just adorable.  Not sure if they thought it was as endearing as I did!

She had a ton of fun…can’t wait until next week!
