We had a great Christmas this year! The kids were spoiled rotten by all their family (as usual).
Christmas was kicked off with Christmas Eve Mass and then festivities at Momo and Papa’s. Lila headed to her favorite spot- the village display. Breakable houses? Doesn’t get much better than that for my girl!!
It’s tradition for Momo to get all the kids Christmas Jammies. They all look super cute and hey- one less thing for me to worry about packing them! They hate their church clothes after a while and look forward to getting cozy before opening presents.
Momo and Papa decided to get everyone annual Disney passes for Christmas this year. We feel so lucky!! We told them it was a great excuse to scale back on the amount of gifts Momo gets for all the kids. I’m sure Papa agrees! She is a crazy woman when it comes to shopping for her grandkids! Especially the Bunch grandkids – naturally her favorites. Soooo, this is what “scaling back” looks like to them. HMMMM.
Jett’s bud Drew. I think we have a picture like this at every holiday.
Family photo 2010. Thanks kids for making super normal faces!!
Speaking of family photos…seriously…why do we even bother anymore!! And this was the best shot. Ruby hates everything about this.
Next was presents. Present after present after present.
This was a big hit…Jett is obsessed with anything Star Wars but mostly LEGO Star Wars.
Lila got a little reading time in with her bestie Ree Ree.
Next, it was back home to wait for Santa to come. Little Ree Ru helped Santa out until the wee hours of morning.
Little thing just slept and slept.
Christmas morning was a hit. The kids got everything they wanted and had a blast checking out all their loot.
This year I asked Jett to pick out something for Lila from him. He knew immediately what he wanted to get her. He insisted she would want make-up. Does this brother know his little sister or what? She was SO SO happy with his present!
She was also happy with several of Jett’s presents too. Spiderman helmet for your new scooter? Don’t mind if I do!
And Ruby just slept through it all! Jett and Lila were more than willing to open all her presents.
Lila’s present to Jett. A spinning general grievous light saber. This was high on Jett’s wish list so sissy did a good job!
Lila’s favorite gift was her vanity table. She spends LOTS of time getting ready each day :)
The final stop for Christmas is Grandma and Grandpa Bunch’s house.
Lila must have been hungry because she walked in and proceded to eat about 12 cake pops.
I do remember Grandpa saying “is someone going to stop her? She is gonna throw up if she keeps eating so much crap.” Or something like that.
Well….we should have listened to Grandpa! I’ll leave it at that.
Here are the Bunch girl cousins. They have to stick together because they are highly outnumbered by the boys!
Ruby snuggled up with her cousin Britnee all night. :) You can tell Britnee is going to be a good mom because she can juggle a baby and some wine so perfectly!
After the gluttony of presents the kids got AGAIN, we spent the rest of the night doing this:
Playing cards and discussing sketchy scoopy.
Jett absolutely LOVES his cousins. They have the best time….
They all got their groove on with Wii dance.
Grandpa Bunch and his favorite grandson.
Auntie Heather and Reagan.
One of the reason’s I married Sean:
He has the best girls EVER in his family! Oh – and he’s really cute.
And nothing wraps up Christmas better than morning –after donuts at Grammies house.
