The Gingerbread House

I spotted a gingerbread house at the craft store and I thought that it would make a fun little baking craft to do with Jett and Lila.  They were super exited about it…

 

I had to be careful not to look away or this happened a lot.

 

 

The candy decorating was the best part.  For every one that made it on to the house, 2 or 3 went into their mouths.  That’s the best part of baking :)

The taste testing got a little out of hand though.

Finally I just said screw it- have at it kiddo’s!

    

The poor gingerbread house only lasted about 3 minutes after it was complete.  Not even enough time to get a a picture of the finished product.
