Happy Birthday Jett!!

Our little boy turned 3 today!  We celebrated by taking a trip to Disneyland :)  We had a great day…but we can’t believe our boy is so big!!

Jett and Lila on our way into the park.  I hope you are all relieved to see Lila is no longer riding in the basket of a single stroller.

The first order of business was to get sissy her own set of ears.

NOW the day can officially begin!

The first ride we wanted to go on was Star Tours.  More on that later but apparently they are reaalllly uptight about that 40 inch rule.

Jett was just under at about 39 inches.  But don’t think that stopped us!

We hit up all the rides…there were no lines we got to go on so much!

The Buzz lightyear ride is always a hit with Jett.  I mean…you carry a pow pow…what more could you ask for!

We had to stop to catch a few zzzzz’s….

Well, I should clarify that ONE of the children needed a nap.  The other one just spent the hour torturing the birthday boy.

 

Here you go…why not munch on a snack while you’re sleeping?

  After that it was back to the rides…a quick map check first though.

When Lila took her nap we thought it was a good time to try the Star Tours thing again…only this time we went a little more prepared.

It only took three attempts but the third time did it!  A big wad of napkins in the shoe and POOF!  40 inches!

The night ended with a lightsaber to fight our way out.

And a bowl of ice cream at home.
