Trunk or Treating!!

Lisa J Mails had a fall festival out at Petlzer Farms pumpkin patch last week and the boys, as well as Kel and Ethan had a fab time. Jett's batman costume hadn't arrived in the mail yet, but thankfully Auntie pulled through with this Spidy outfit.

Some practice for trick or treating....Jett must have forgotten how it worked last year because he was thrilled and SUPA surprised that these strangers were handing out candy!! He didn't really get the "trick or treat" part down - he just held out his bag. I do have to say that he definitely had the "THANK YOU!!!!!!!!" down pat. Love the manners ;)

Ree Ree worked this booth. Ethan's class had a game where you threw a hula hoop over some scare crows. Jett didn't quite get it around the scarecrows but had a good time trying!

Hey look! Jett's friends Dane and Luke! Can you see how thrilled they are to stop for a picture? At least little Dane is cooperating.

Little Miss Lila only made it about an hour before conking out. Luckily her buddy Momo was there to snuggle up with!


This is the next night but as you can see the Spiderman mask was still in full effect. Jett tends to really get his money's worth from costumes in case you hadn't noticed that!!
We went up to Momo and Papa's for dinner and Spidy wore himself out.

Lila's friend Kate came over to play this week. It's been a few months since the girls have hung out so they had a great time playing with toys and snacking on some banana puffs :)

Jett thought Kate was a crack up. And she thought a 2 foot batman was hilarious!!

Halloween Sneak Peek 2

Jett is OBSESSED with Batman lately. He is loving all things superhero but Batman holds a special place in his heart. So when the subject of what to be for Halloween came up - the was no changing his mind. Batman it is!

His costume arrived in the mail today. How happy does he look??

He wanted to make sure I "got a picture of the cape."

In true Jett fashion, he loved his instructions as much as the costume itself.

He was so so so happy to see himself as Batman. I got a little of him flying around Lila's room. He wanted to make sure everything looked quite right! I love how he keeps checking himself out as he runs by :)

It's exhausting being a super hero. Batman got so tired that he just collapsed right here. Standing up! Hey, when you are a superhero - you can do all sorts of super acts!

Birthday and the Bunch boys.

We spent a great weekend up at Grandma Auntie and Crap-paw Brunch's house! We got to see Sean's uncle Bob who was in town from Missouri AND celebrated his birthday. Happy 29th Uncle Bob!
It's not often that we get all the "Bunch" boys together. They made the best of it with non stop playing...and when I say non stop I mean these boys can hang like Jett! The wii was going on into the wee hours of the night :)

This is Lila with her cousin and our Godchild Vito. He is for realz the cutest thing EVER.

Jett's had SO much fun with Vito - the second they saw each other they quickly put on their capes and became immediate BFF's.

One of Jett's favorite things to do is puzzle's. He's not bad at it either! Here you can see his concentration...
Lila on the other hand - one of HER favorite things to do is sit and look pretty :) She's not so bad at that either. She was rooting Jett on to find the right piece here...as well as giving a wave to all her peeps. "Holla!"
