Lila might have pierced ears soon.
I like to be the fun aunt when Raquel and Ethan spend the night. I don't like to burden the children with silly things like rules, baths and bedtime. I also like to leave them with something to remember the fun night by. Sometimes it's a belly full o brownies but this time I thought "why not pierced ears instead?" Much to my (and Raquel's) surprise her parents were game for the idea so we all headed down to the mall.
I'm telling you people...it took every ounce of my will power to not pierce Lila's ears. I can't promise you that I can resist much longer.

Raquel took the piercing like a champ!

Was searching for a GF's blog with similar name and came across yours. Started reading and saw
your post how tempted you were to pierce your dd's ears.I had a similar experience with our 2 month old daughter, Sandi.
I'd say if your're thinking about it, then your mommy intuition is telling you earlier is better and I'd just go ahead and do it now.
I had the urge like you did too so I asked our ped. She encouraged me to do it when mommy could care for them. She gave us some suggestions for moms having their dd's ears pierced. She recommended Piercing Pagoda due to their experience with infant ear piercing and professional training. We were very pleased!
Write me an e-mail if youwould like our ped's suggestions and
I'll send them to you.
