We hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! We spent the day at our good friends' house - the Valdes family. We have gone there every year as a family and always have the best time! Not only do they have a gorgeous house on a hill that can see 2 different fireworks shows, they also host the annual boys vs girls water polo tournament. Unfortunately the boys won this year but I think there was quite a bit of cheating going on. Uncle Josh also lost a big chunk of his toe. It gets pretty crazy and is not a game for the weak! I think it's more like a rugby/water polo, but I don't really know official water polo rules... so who knows?
