Banjo and Baby

This picture is so sweet....Sean fell asleep holding Lila after a jam session on his new banjo. Yes, that's right, I said banjo. He kept asking for one for fathers day and when I realized he wasn't joking I had to go into overdrive to try and find one! Ironically my mom has had her oldest brothers banjo at their house ever since he passed away several years ago. It was old and beat up but of course Sean got it looking brand new! He has even learned to play a few notes (strums? chords?) whatever they are called and it sounds pretty good! And we all know how much Sean likes "heritages" so I think it's pretty cool he brought my uncle Billy's banjo back to life :)

Lila was gonna give it a few strums but fell asleep before she could reach the strings.
