Auntie Grandma the artist

Jett loves to color. He also loves to dictate to others what to color. Autie Grandma had NO idea what she was getting herself into when Jett very sweetly asked if she would please "color Jett."

What a sport...she drew Jett.

BUT WAIT....it went on. Jett proceeded to tell her to - in this order - "Draw Jett. Draw Jett in bed. He needs a pillow. He needs a t.v. Watching t.v. Watching Willy (Free Willy). Willy stuck in a net. Draw stuck in a net. Draw YaYee (foxxy). YaYee needs a treat. Thanks Auntie Grandma!!" You draw great!!

One of the best parts of Jett's weekend at Grandma's was getting to celebrate his birthday again! Auntie Kimbo sent up a present for him and he loved every second of it. Thanks Auntie Kim - you made Jett a VERY happy boy :)

Weekend at Auntie Grandma's

We got to spend a few days with Grandpa and Auntie! On the way up we mentioned that we were going to see Grandpa and Grandma and Jett corrected us - Grandpa and AUNTIE. Auntie Grandma.

Um...I don't want to start any Bunch family drama, but it KIND of looks like Grandpa might have a favorite :)

Bookends

These are the Bunch bookends. The oldest grandchild Ernie and the youngest, Lila.

Uncle Matt would be so proud! He got Jett these vet scrubs and we put them on the other day. I told them that you wear them when you fix animals when they get hurt.
Jett LOVED that idea...HURT you say? Well, nothing can fix that like a band aid can! Jett LOVES band aids. So what could be better than putting band aids on all his animal friends?? Nothing! This game went on for a loooong time.

Let's see here monkey...hmmm...my doagnosis is: ouie.
I prescribe a band aid.

Trash Day

We love trash day! Sean loves it because he just loves organizing and trash is one more way to make things super clean and squared away.
I love it because they take away diapers that stank up the garage.
And Jett loves it because of the truck. We can hear it coming from up the street and he sits and sits and waits until it's our turn.

And before I go any further...I'd like to acknowledge that yes, I know that in several of the most recent posts Jett is wearing nothing but a diaper. I really don't have a good excuse other than he likes to roll like that! The kid isn't really wanting to wear clothes lately...sorry!

Baby and her toys.

I've said this a million times already - but I'm saying it again! Jett is the best brother a little girl could ask for. He LOVES playing with her, eating her snacks and making her laugh. She totally adores him too. I just know the day is coming where they are going to fight like normal siblings do....I'm remembering the day that I gave my youngest brother a large bald spot from yanking his hair out. Ahhh, the good ole days! Now THAT was fun.
But...today they love each other so I'm just going to enjoy that :)

It's a jungle over here!

I think this is a giraffe? It's a weird looking giraffe that's for sure! Jett found this in Foxxy's stash of clothes (hmmm, must have been when I actually liked Foxxy and bought her things like clothes and Halloween costumes...) anywho I guess she alright, but these days just isn't getting as many new outfits!
Back to the giraffe...Jett wanted to wear this costume very badly. I tried to tell him it was for dogs but he insisted on putting it on....



It's an adventurous little giraffe too! He decided Lila needed to live it up a little bit more.
I don't' know about you, but I'm PRETTY sure this isn't what the manufacturer's of this swing had in mind! I'm not sure what is more disturbing...the fact that I'm just sitting back and filming him launching her over and over, or that she is thoroughly enjoying it!

First big catch!

Well, maybe "big" might be a stretch. Jett did catch his first fish though! Jett's Great Uncle Jim might want to watch out because it was his FIRST fishing attempt! According to Sean it's not "Great Uncle Jim" it's "Uncle Jim the Great."

A Great day!

This was a great day for a few reasons.....
The first was that Lila got to spend some time with her Great Grandma! She got super cozy and went right to sleep...Thanks Grandma Jo for the nap spot :)

And the other reason for the great day was that my cousins Rachael, Cameron and Cole moved back to California!! They have been in South Carolina for several years but now are back. Back in the day Rachael and I used to hang out all.the.time. She is one of my most favorite people in the whole world :) I'm so glad they are back!!!

Team work!

I'm not really sure why...but every toy that I pull out for Lila to play with is suddenly the BEST TOY EVER according to Jett. He always has to have what she has...nevermind that it's been sitting in his closet untouched for eh, about a year now.
Oh well, she's a super good sharer so it's really no biggie.


Aaaaand while we're here we might as well acknowledge the elephant in the room. Jett's choice of outfit for the day. Or should I say lack thereof? He insisted on a rubberband worn high up on his arm, a bandaid on an invisible arm injury, no clothes, and blue marker to accent the whole getup.
We pick our battles around here...and this just wasn't a mountain I was gonna die on! Rock on with your bad self Jett.

The game came to a screeching halt when Lila decided to dive in and eat the game...Jett HATES that. It results in a thousand "oooh NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, you too little baby, too little, TOO LITTLE!!!"
He hates all that slobber.
