It's that time of year again....

Football season is here again! Friday night football is back and Lila is a great new addition to the fun!
The best part of football (for me) is that Momo gets some Lila time and *I* get to just sit back and relax ;) You know...now that I think about it, Momo has never really had a football game without a baby. Each year it seems like someone is little enough where they want to be held and need to be rocked to sleep long before the game is over.
Hey...it's not Sarah and I's fault that the babies love their Momo!

Getting ready for the kickoff....hmm I noticed this year they added some yellow caution tape to the side lines. I wonder if that has anything to do with a group of rambunctious boys that maybe, might have, maybe just once or twice - ran on the field? During game time?
Interesting....

Drew doing the Bronco "2" thing. I still don't know what the two stands for but everyone does it there.

Some things never change. Every year the boys bring out all the toys and set up for the game...

...and Papa and Josh are always ready for the perfect shot..
..and Luke still has the same girly friend...how cute are they? They look so much older this year! And so much more serious!!! :)

Auntie Sarah's latest....

Jett and Lila put up with my incessant need for lots of cute pics and sat through another round of photo's by Auntie. I know I'm reeeaaaallly biased but I think these are some pretty cute kids and taken by a pretty good photographer :)

My buddy B

Jett's bestie, Braden turned three this week! No one can throw a party like Braden can. It was pretty much the best brithday party a little boy (or girl!) could ask for. There was jumpers, a pool, a slip n slide (Jett's personal favorite), pinata's, a taco stand and as if all that weren't enough the lizard lady (I think was her name??) brought a ton of creepy things for the kids to look at, touch and learn all about. There was snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, alligators (I'm serious!), tarantulas, and a ton of other stuff that boys love.

Here is Jett stepping away from the slip n slid for about 5 seconds to pet this turtle. Or was this a tortoise? I never really understood the distinction.

Speaking of slip n slides....
I thought Sean was being a tad rough here - I mean he's only two years old. But Sean insisted this is exactly how he was raised on the slip n slide by his Uncle Jim "The Wheel."
Whatever! Jett seemed to enjoy :)

The snake cake was a huge hit. Can you tell?

Well one thing is for sure....

A camera lens cap makes a great baby toy even 30 years later!

This is a picture of me and Lila at just about the same age. I don't see much of a resemblance :) I think Lila looks like her dad and his sister Kim, but also looks a lot like my mom and HER sister (Lila's auntie Ree). Or maybe I just can't decide?
What do YOU think?

The Stow Away

Sean left this morning for Hawaii. I, for one, did not think it was fair that he got to go and leave ME at home!
Jett apparently agreed as well and tried to sneak on the flight out!

All packed and ready to go!
Um....

Oooh, nice try Jett!

Summer Nights

It has finally started to cool down (well by cool down I mean it's only 95 rather than 105). So we can venture outdoors again. One of Jett's most favorite outdoor spots to go is Momo and Papa's...it's like the park only way better because along with the slides and swings he gets bonus cookies and golf cart rides.

Here Jett is with Jessie....take a good look cuz I can't gaurantee there will be many more pictures of this good ole dog! She's got diabetes and is blind so really...how much longer can a dog hang on?
