Looks like I have a helper too!

Just when I was thinking that Sean really has it made with his little helper, Lila offered to help make dinner ;) She was entertained by these spoons forever...

Such a nice day for housework :)

Sean is so lucky. He has the most willing little helper. Nevermind that Jett's handy work is not quite up to dada's standards of looking nice - his effort is 100%!

Today he decided to lend a hand in painting the railings. He liked to do this part but the part he REALLY liked was dipping the brush for more paint...

A lot of this tug of war ensued...

All is well in the end though - back to painting!

We went to a local air show today. It was really fun! Jett loved all the planes and he even got to sit in an F-5 Tiger II (whatever that is). Watch out Maverick - we may have a future pilot here :)

When you have Crap-paw Bunch? Jett's Grandpa is the COOLEST. He is always sending him this really rad stuff in the mail that Jett loves. First of all - mail is super fun. Who doesn't love getting mail? Then, as if that's not fun enough, he gets this awesome cars watch! Thank you Crap-paw!!!

Another fun jumper!

Auntie Sarah was nice enough to lend Lila her Jumperoo...it has a bunch of fun toys to look at AND she can bounce in it. Lila is a big fan :)

Aw crap...look who just HAD to try. Although he led me to believe it needed to be "fixed" before Lila could safely sit in it.

Jett's Turn!!!!

Why is it that every freaking baby toy is all of a sudden the coolest item in the house? This swing has been downstairs collecting dust for the past year - do you think Jett showed an ounce of interest? In that entire year? Nope. But put Lila in it and all of a sudden has HAS to have a turn. I get "Jett's turn! Jett try, Jett try, Jett try!!!" until he either gets his way or he gets distracted by yet another fun infant toy.

Jett's Grandpa Bunch (or Crap-paw as Jett says) is the coolest Grandpa. He sends Jett fun things in the mail that Jett always goes crazy over. First it was a cars shirt that had a button to make noise - he wore it for 3 days straight. Yesterday he got this awesome Star Wars pow-pow. Needless to say there has been a lot of killing going on in this household today. Thanks Crapaw! We love you!

Storytime Starbucks style...

The Starbucks by our house has a storytime for kids every Wednesday. It's great because the kids get to hear a story, get free chocolate milk, cookies and coloring time. Who could ask for anything better?! And I get to have an hour to just sit with a latte....sounds like a perfect day!

Jett's a child after my own heart...he loves his Starbucks trips :)

Gal Pal

Lila had her gal pal Kate over yesterday for some play time. That mainly consisted of sleeping, drooling and drinking some baba's :) They woke up long enough to get some cute pictures though...they both share the same love of big huge hair bows.

Elmo is my homeboy

Elmo made a rare appearance to the city of Temecula yesterday...ok fine it wasn't the REAL Elmo, in fact it was a poor imitation of Elmo...BUT Jett didn't care. Any Elmo is fun to him and the day was even better because he got to play at My Gym AND see his bestie Braden!

I have no idea who this random little girl is, nor do I know if she was ok with Jett rolling her all over the gym. She looks alright with it?

The anticipation is over...ELMO! Jett couldn't believe it...he also couldn't believe it when he saw Braden was there too!

So it looks like the My Gym worker just really loves Jett and is playing with him...but really what is happening here is they were saying "take ONE step towards Elmo, now take THREE steps torward Elmo...!" Jett would just run full speed. He wanted Elmo and he wanted to get there first! So this is acutally a picture of restraint.

Still Lovely

Lila is getting so big...like, we busted out the 9 mo and 12 mo clothes this week. And yes, for those trying to do the math she is ONLY 3.5 months old. My girl is big and beefy...but still lovely Lila :)
