Daddy's Little Helper

Jett's been really helpful lately. Whatever we are doing...he's willing to help. Most of the time it's things like 'emptying' the dishwasher, digging through the dog food to make sure there is nothing dangerous in it, checking the toilets for foreign objects, etc. He's Mr. handy around here. The latest project he assisted with was staining the new spice rack. Our good friend Rick has an amazing talent for cabinet and wine rack making and made this cool spice rack for us. Jett was more than happy to help stain it.

After awhile he decided Sean could use a little stain as well!

Asleep at the Wheel!

Uh oh....this could be a potential accident Jett! And at the very least a hefty ticket! As many of you know, Jett has an obsession...a HUGE obsession with any and all cars. He is even starting to to get really annoyed when he can't sit in the drivers seat when we go places. Those cool steering grocery carts? To die for. Golf carts? Pure Heaven. This awesome motorized jeep of Raquel's? The most fun EVER! He would not get off. Nevermind that he had not had a nap and was super tired. Every time I tried to take him off he freaked and "bbbrrroooooommed" me to death until he could get back on.

Unfortunately, the nap defeated him on about lap 78.

I'm not really sure what is worse here....that Jett is nodding off at the wheel, or Ethan is gunning the gas pedal and never notices a thing.

Day at the Park

Last weekend we spent the day out at the park with Luke, Drew and Braden. The boys had a blast and the weather was great!

Uncle John is teaching Luke and Braden some baseball skillz....although I think Braden is practicing his golf swing?

Jett found a steering wheel and parked himself there all.day.long.

There was a *tad* bit of a fight for it though...Braden appeared to be the winner, but Jett walked away with the prize! One of these day's I'm going to need a post devoted just to Jett and B's throwdowns!

Back OFF.

So apparently Jett is really serious about his work. He was happily coloring a masterpiece until we came along and snatched away a marker. He did NOT appreciate that. If you can't tell it appears that he's attempting one of his first "temper tantrums." He's not half bad at it either! Do you see the grip he has and the way he is fighting his daddy off? So strong!!

Family photo's are few and far between...now that Sean is back living in the good ole U.S. of A. we should be able to squeeze a few more in. My dad was getting ready for a photo shoot and needed some subject to test his lights...we were happy to oblige!

Jett's been loving, LOVING having his daddy home. They get along great and Jett is glad to have someone to scrap with. We took him to the park this week he could take a trip down the big kid slide. He went down like a champ! No sissy's in this family!
