Jett eats everything...he loves to eat and refuses almost nothing...except for fruit. Which makes no sense seeing as he has quite the sweet tooth! He will eat any and all veggies, but for some reason never likes fruit!. This all changed when he got to actually pick all his own fruit up at Momo and Papa's house. He first watered, then picked whichever one he wanted. Nothing but home grown organic for this family!! ;)

It's like Disneyland!
Jett LOVES Lowes. Loves it. Good thing daddy loves Lowes too because it makes for frequent trips! First off, there are the coolest race car carts. Secondly, there are tools everywhere, and third there are a million tiny pieces that Jett can grab off shelves and throw on the floor. The last one is my least favorite. I avoid the plumbing aisle like the plague :)

Our Little Builder
Sean has been redoing our front deck the past few weeks. Jett hears the tools going and stands at the door BEGGING to go out. He is just a great helper like that! Finally we let him have a go. First though, Sean had to teach him the basics of drilling screws....
Here he is observing. Such a good student already!

Finally it's his turn! Oh...daddy forgot to tell you the screws don't go in the cracks! The effort is superb though!
More Sea World.....
We met up at Sea World with Luke, Drew, Maddie, Rylann, and Tristan. The kids all had so much fun. Um, maybe Luke even had a little too much fun! Here are some pics from the playdate....
Get-Set-Go!
Uncle Warren brought this go kart over from storage. It was Ethan's old go kart and had been sitting in his warehouse for a few years now....but low and behold it started right up! No charging even needed! Soooo, this is what Jett has been doing every.single.evening. He is loving the go kart. Thanks Uncle Warren!

Jett's Neighborhood Crew
Jett, the social butterfly that he is, has already made some neighborhood friends. Especially Nee (Nick, the one on the right). He loves Nee and yells across the street for him everyday. Well, Nick and Max saw Sean's military gear and convinced him to let them play war. Sean hooked them up with some stuff and they have been knocking on our door every day since. Today they asked if they could come in and play Grand Theft Auto. Cute, but um....no boys. Your mom's will not appreciate that.

Beach Bums
We got to spend a few days at the beach this week. Momo and Papa get some condo's for us all every year to hang out and relax, and this year was no exception. After a quick trip to Sea World it was time to hit the beach!
The best part about Sea World is the Bay of Play. You can run around the water area and cool off with Big Bird and Elmo. Who could ask for more??

And it's off to the beach! Jett dragged Momo and Papa the whole way there.

We tried to get a decent family shot...it was a little hard though because Jett was trying to head straight for the ocean any chance he got. He LOVED the waves!!

Park fun!
We met up at the park with Luke, Drew and a bunch of their friends. Aside from a brief fight over the steering wheel....they all had a great time! Luke and Jett....they both fight fiercely for the same toy all.the.time. Luckily Drew doesn't care what he plays with...he'll take the leftovers when the brawl ends between these two :)
Nevermind that there is an entire playground filled with fun playground stuff...these two are having a ball with a starbucks green tea latte.
When playtime was over Miss Sarah rounded up her group to head back. She had this little rope that they all held onto as they walked. Jett hopped right on! He thought it seemed like great fun!
Happy 4th!
We had a great 4th of July this year. We got up early to go to the annual La Cresta parade. It basically consisted of a bunch of horses and some kids in the back of pick ups. But the kids seemed to love it! Here they are all loaded up in the golf cart with Papa ready to head over....
Later that evening we went to our good friends the Valdes' for some food, water polo and fireworks. Jett loved the fireworks *almost* as much as Natalie's home made ice cream cake :).

Gamer
I have been telling Sean that he can't play Grand Theft Auto in front of Jett...you know, because of all the killing that goes on? So instead he let him play his Battlefield game. Um....kinda the same thing, isn't it? We are SO getting parent of the year awards this year! Oh - and do you love how they are actually fighting each other for the mouse? Nice right?
